This creates the environment in which a customer and CEVEC can concentrate on the business they are specialized in: Undisturbed revenue earning in shipping by the customer and provision of marine services by CEVEC. By combining resources in an appropriate package customers and CEVEC can reap the benefits of lower costs and around-the-clock ship repair management.
CEVECs corrective vessel maintenance services become applicable as soon as the customer’s vessels is in an emergency situation, the customer is unable to attend the vessel with his super intendents but corrective maintenance needs to be carried out immediately to avoid the vessel’s down time. At this moment the customer needs a marine professional partner like CEVEC who is taking care of his interests.
CEVEC is offering the planning, realization and supervision of preventive and corrective vessel maintenance, from the inquiry, over the project realization to the settlement of the invoice, independently from yard facilities and linked to a big, well equipped, well prepared and mainly ISO QMS certified network of local and international marine contractors.
Hence, the following maritime services can be provided:

  1. Management, coordination and supervision of corrective and preventive vessel maintenance projects;
  2. Superintendency services during dry-docking or afloat repairs, in new build or repair shipyards and/or on-voyage all over the world;
  3. Marine claim assessments, loss adjusting as well as incident and accident investigations for insurance companies;
  4. Pre-purchase or condition and value surveys for yacht valuations;
  5. Vessel, marine and offshore (damage) surveys;
  6. Cargo and container (damage) surveys;
  7. Preparation of Cargo Securing Manuals (CSM) for ro-ro vessel, container vessel and for vessel with non-standardized cargo (general cargo);
  8. Total Spare Part Management (TSPM) incl. delivery and supervision of installation/ repairs;
  9. Consulting services for the improvement of maritime and maritime related organizations such as shipyards, contractors and suppliers;
  10. Maritime Consultancy and Project Management with focus on the corporate preparation for the implementation and maintenance of the quality management standard ISO 9001:35%0 and the environmental management system ISO 14001.

CEVECs project management, repair coordination and finalization skills are conducted under the strictest safety guidelines with additional recommendations when warranted.
